I’m glad to report that my book Year-Round Food Gardening for Houston and Southeast Texas–Growing Organic Vegetables, Fruits, Spices, and Culinary Herbs Using Nature, Ecology, and Permaculture is finally at the printer and it will start selling in August.

I will provide updates as to where it may be purchased, but for some time it may be necessary to get on waiting lists since in the next few months, supplies will likely be short of demand.

The 300 plus page 12th edition written in 2004-5 has long been out of date. The new one took me 7 years to write and is 511 pages and much better. It is updated for the Internet, location in Southeast Texas, and climate change, and much else with very little of the same text as the earlier book.
